Meet Yasiru Suduweli

Yasiru Suduweli is one of our passionate Graduate Electrical Engineers at PowerEarth.

Before Yasiru moved to Australia, he attended Rahula College in Matara, Sri Lanka. During his time at Rahula College, he participated in hockey, basketball, rugby and scouting. It was his passion for scouting where he thrived as a leader. He achieved his goal and was appointed as a Troop Leader and given the Best Scout Award in 2011.

Yasiru moved to Australia in 2013. As he had a passion for new technology, he decided to study electrical engineering. He studied engineering degree at the Queensland University of Technology and graduated with a Second-class Honours in Electrical Engineering specializing in power and energy systems.

Yasiru started his professional career working as a junior electrical engineer at a leading electrical engineering firm. He now works at PowerEarth where he continues to expand his professional skills and enjoy our enthusiastic & passionate working environment. He has a strong will to learn new technologies and is determined to develop his knowledge and skills to succeed in his career with PowerEarth. His determination and his team enthusiasm will ensure he does so.
