Get to know the people behind PowerEarth

PowerEarth is passionate about helping people reach their career goals and we are fortunate enough to have a team who are making our future look extra bright.

Don Pasindu, Yasiru Sudeweli, Minh Nguyen and Pietro Kumarapperuma are all celebrating their two-year anniversary with PowerEarth as electrical engineers.

While they all have different hobbies from 4×4 driving in rugged terrain, to flight simulation from the comfort of their own home, motor bikes, woodworks and crypto they have one big thing in common – they are passionate about their job and are great at doing it.

Electrical engineering wasn’t always a clear career path but a love and special gift for numbers and mathematics led them to a career where these skills could shine.

Reflecting on the past two years at PowerEarth, Don says getting to know amazing people with similar interests from diverse backgrounds has been a highlight for him. Yasiru agrees and says that while he is passionate about the technical side of his job, it’s the fantastic culture at PowerEarth that really stands out for him. Minh enjoys the unexpected lunch time workouts and Pietro adds the ping pong games after work help with work/life balance!

When asked where they see themselves in five years, Minh is keen to become an expert in his field and build his professional network and Don would like to be involved with the Sydney Metro Stage 3 project. Pietro has set himself a goal to finish his graduate research project and Yasiru wants to grow his skills and get more experience in earthing and bonding designs and protection systems. We know that they will achieve all these things and more!

We are so thankful they’ve chosen an electrical engineering career path at PowerEarth and we are thrilled to see what the future has in store for them.
