The Melbourne Metro Tunnel is a major upgrade to the city’s rail system. It includes 9 km of twin rail tunnels, five new underground stations as well as works to integrate the new system with the existing network.
PowerEarth together with partners Enotrac modelled the traction system calcuated the EMI levels to assess the impact on nearby sensitive receivers.
PowerEarth also modelled the tunnel earthing system to determined the EPR at each traction and distribution substation as well as the bulk supply point.
