The Sydney Metro Northwest is a 36 km long rail project with 13 metro stations utiliising new generation driverless trains. The Sydney Metro is the largest public transport project in Australia.
PowerEarth was engaged by NRT Consortium to develop the Earthing and Bonding Management Plan and associated design and testing. PowerEarth designed and commissioned the earthing and bonding systems associated with the traction and distribution substations, rail tracks, tunnels and metro stations. PowerEarth also implemented measures to reduce electrolytic corrosion on rail infrastructure and nearby pipleines and structures.
